How good is your stew? In the book of Genesis, chapter 25,
Jacob made some really good stew. It was so good, his brother gave up his
birthright for it.
The stew had to have been crazy good because it doesn’t make
sense to give up your birthright for mediocre stew. I don’t care how hungry you
are. Nobody should give up something as important as their birthright for one
meal. Jacob knew how important Esau’s birthright was, so he took advantage of
Esau’s weakness.
What can we learn from Esau’s mistake? Join me at Seek GodWith Me for a modern-day application and challenge.
Do you know what’s important in your life?
