We couldn’t have guessed what would happen in the last 100 days. We won’t know what will happen in the next 100 days until it happens.
However, there are events scheduled and birthdays coming up and things we can look forward to in the coming days. And we can pray for the people connected to those events and birthdays.
We can pray for people we know and people we don’t know. Asking a friend how we can pray for them is a moment of comfort that will strengthen that relationship. When we see someone we don’t know who is dealing with conflict, we can pray.
We can pray for the elections coming up for Americans in the next 100 days. It doesn’t matter whether we agree or disagree with people. We can pray.
Try committing to pray for one person every day by writing your prayers in a journal.
If you don’t have one, try the 100 Days of Prayer Journal. I’ve just published this 8” x 10” journal so you can use the large pages to focus your prayers and write from your heart. After 100 days of writing your prayers, flip through the pages and see for yourself how God has blessed you in life-changing ways.
